On October 26 of this year, the Kick-off online meeting was held with the participation of representatives of JV LLC “Jizzakh Petroleum”, “AspenTech” and LLC "Ferghana Oil Refinery Plant", within the framework of the project "Design, development and commissioning of the optimization planning model" based on the Aspen Unified PIMS solution for the Ferghana Oil Refinery Plant.
According to the approved agenda, the following issues were discussed: team representation; meeting objectives; communication; consideration of the scope of the project and the final results; review of the distribution of roles; review of the schedule. At the same time, special attention was paid to issues related to the project implementation schedule, detailed definition of the scope of work, training course and user certification, development, and approval of functional design specifications, etc.
As previously reported, Aspen Technology (USA) was engaged on a contract basis to implement the Aspen Unified PIMS optimization planning model at the Ferghana Oil Refinery Plant.
Aspen PIMS (Process Industry Modeling System) is a tool for maximizing the profit of an enterprise under specified external (market conditions, product specifications) and internal (available technological modes of operation) conditions. In addition, Aspen PIMS allows you to evaluate the efficiency of processing alternative raw materials, determine the operating modes of technological installations, calculate the optimal mixing of marketable products, analyze the feasibility and feasibility of building new and upgrading existing installations.
