Day of memory and honor for labor veterans of the Fergana Oil Refinery Plant

Today, May 8, on the eve of the Day of Remembrance and Honor, a meeting was held with labor veterans who have worked at the Ferghana Oil Refinery Plant (FORP) for many years.

Among them: internationalist fighters who served in Afghanistan, as well as participants in the operation of elimination the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of FORP Rashidjon Saidaliev, on behalf of the management of the plant, congratulated labor veterans on the Day of Memory and Honor and thanked retired colleagues for conscientious and many years of hard work for the sake of the enterprise.

The veterans were introduced to the modernization project currently being carried out in the shops and facilities of the FORP, where they used to work. In honor of the holiday, 75 labor veterans received food packages from the partner of the plant, the “Khilol” supermarket.

Also, today, the trade union committee visited three former workers of the plant - home front workers during the Great Patriotic War.
